We require Bus Chaperones to be present on the school bus to supervise and support pupils under the age of 8 whilst traveling on the bus.

We currently run two bus routes from Barnes and Sheen. Both buses depart Richmond at 7am so the chaperone can either start their journey in Richmond, Barnes or Sheen.

The afternoon chaperone will need to be at the school for 3.45pm and can either return to Richmond or be dropped off in Barnes or Sheen.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To supervise all pupils during their journey on the bus to ensure their safety
• Ensure the pupils get on and off at the correct stop
• Observe general safety and security procedures whilst on the bus
• Uphold the schools’ values and reputation within the community by ensuring a good level of behaviour.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION

• Ability to build good relationships with pupils
• Calm and professional outlook
• Punctual
• Must have a good level of English.
• Experience working with children is desirable
